Guys and Dolls, the Tony-award winning musical with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and a book by Abe Burrows, is the rollicking tale of the friendliest group of gamblers and “sinners” you’ve ever seen. Originally premiering in 1950 and based on the stories of Damon Runyon, Guys and Dolls tells the story of Nathan Detroit and his friend Sky Masterson, who find salvation and love in their search for a safe harbor for their gambling exploits. The recent revival in New York received rave reviews and eight Tony nominations, winning four and the Drama Desk for Outstanding Revival. Famous for songs such as “Luck Be a Lady,” “Sit Down, You’re Rocking the Boat,” and “I’ve Never Been in Love Before,”
